The Power of Small Changes

The Power of Small Changes
Have you read the book Atomic Habits by James Clear? We often feel as though massive achievements require a mountain of effort and this can make it very hard to start anything. When it comes to right down to it, any little or big change is usually just a series of tiny changes. Tiny or “atomic” changes. Doing them consistently turn these atomic changes into atomic habits. Then you can stack them on top of one another. Soon enough you’re looking back and wondering how the heck you achieved so much. I promise!
I’m not bluffing either. Nor am I some superhuman. While I’ve seen it in myself, I’ve also had the beta testers of 60khealth reflect these comments back to me. They are often amazed at how much the little changes contribute to overall change. In sports, kids who consistently did just a few pushups every week were faster, stronger, and better performers than the kids who gave up.
I think we can all start making tiny or atomic changes now. Here are some options to consider trying:
· Choosing a few more fresh veggies every week
· Choosing stairs instead of elevators for one floor each day
· Choosing a new game to play with your friend or children
Just starting will feel pretty incredible!
